Skinny fish sickness

Hi,
I have Pearl Danios and recently, some have become very skinny, stop eating and then die.
I believe it should be a parasite problem but don't know what or how to treat them. Of course I could be wrong…...

I believe this problem came with some other species of Sawab Barb…a whole school of twenty which died this way over 5 months….

Anyway, I thought it was just confined to the sawab barbs but now it's apparently not…

If you want to deworm or suspect internal bacteria/ parasite.
Can try to use eiho brand parzi gold with metro cure.

Parasites do spread among fishes in a community tank... you can try using Seachem Paraguard, i've used it in my quarantine tank to good effect, have managed to prevent parasite related issues so far.

Yes, It is spreading in the community tank.
I also have shrimps in there, amanos, crd etc.
Its a big community.

I cannot get Parzi Gold here in china .
The sachem paraguard is preventive right?
I'm looking also for cure if there is any.

Any alternative?
Another 2 were affected and brought out of the tank.....
I'm sure another is prime candidate....watching everyday...

What should I do?

Seachem Paraguard is more of a broad spectrum treatment (its a combination of medications)... its usually used when you are not sure of what is the exact parasite cause. I guess its less toxic than other types of medications as i've not had any fish or shrimp losses since using it for my quarantine tank.

It can also be used as a 1 hour dip treatment with more concentrated dosage too (based on the bottle instructions). I have not had to use that method yet so far, but i've heard of friends who used that method on their fishes which exhibit visible problems and managed to cure them over time.
