    Hi There,

I have just started cycling my tank and I just learnt of BT-9. I read that the best method is to put it on top of the substrate or under the substrate. As I already started cycling, this is impossible. With my tank water running already, is it still advisable to add in BT-9 to speed up cycling?

    Thank you for your help!

Nope. I'm referring to the one that helps in growing beneficial bacteria.
