I have a tank of crs with yellow, orange and blue neocaridina shrimps.
The yellow ones don't last, especially after adding in crs. I only have problems with yellows dying one after another.
I did some research and have come across some keepers also having problems with yellows.
Anyone had good luck with yellows?
Perhaps yellows are not destined to be reared by me. I will probably stop keeping yellows from now on.
The yellow shrimps are often labelled as "emperor shrimps", so probably more used to being treated like royalty or else they refuse to live.
Jokes aside... since your other shrimps are okay, the yellow ones might just be from a particularly weak batch.

Emperor sounds logical though....haha...cos I personally feel that they don't do well with other species or being kept in big numbers. That is rather abnormal for neo shrimps, as they are usually being labelled as hardy.
i don't have much problem with them, are you using chiller and what's the ph?
I haven't tested my ph, but the orange neos are fine with the crs, no casulties.
I set up another small tank and transferred the remaining 2 yellows there. Till date, they are ok.
the temperature could be a consideration too so maybe you could check there.
