Hi everyone! Will a moss cover a whole rock when it is only tied to one part of it?? Cause I just tied my fissiden to a part of of my rock. And was wondering if given enough time, will the rock be totally covered? Thanks!

The fissidens will eventually slowly propagate outwards to cover the rest of the rock, but it can take a long time (could be months and sometimes even years, depending on the initial amount of fissidens and your tank conditions). In the meantime, you'll just be staring at lots of bare surfaces.

It'll be better to spread out the fissidens and tie them in a thin layer evenly across the rock surface from the start, that way it will at least look more "filled in" with balanced coverage while it's growing.

Yeah, good lighting and Co2 help encourage growth (they're still relatively slow growing though, compared to stem plants) ... ferts not so crucial as they have low nutrient requirements.
