Hello, I'm also a newbie. I turn on CO2 for 24hrs. Is this detrimental to the flora? I dose ADA Bright K and ADA Green Brighty Special Lights daily.

Not a newbie to hair though.. having a "bald style" can be cool and charming too depending on the personality!

turning on CO2 for 24 hours will result in the aquarium water being too low in PH at night. Lower PH can cause harm to fauna.

the additional CO2 without the photosynthesis of plants will also mean living things in the tank may not have enough O2.

haha.. its not like i choose to be bald-ing.. well.. take it as it comes!
I am balding but i am still young!

Note that at night, plants transition from photosynthesis to respiration (just like all animals), so in addition to the co2 injection, you are going to have the plants giving co2 as well. May not be significant, but at a certain level it could cause suffocation for your fauna or a ph crash.

Being bald seem to be popular nowadays! Like those soccer player or basketball player.
