I (supposedly) bought 5 females from c328. Those 50cent ones in a pail.. A week ago i realised eggs in a bubblenest in the corner of the female tank. At first i thought the females were bored or something so i left it, the next day it was gone. Then 6 days later it happened again and my dad said there is a male inside because his tail was pretty long.. So okay after reading the long story the good news is the eggs hatched today! Wasn't really expecting it though because my previous spawn didn't make it to the hatching stage.

My fry are free swimming alreadyi think that is pretty fast...

Didn't want so many fries though. I left everything to natureWhen I planned to breed them, i lost all of my fries. When I don't plan to breed them, i have too many fries.

Haha I'm sorryBusy preparing for exams now. Ok so they are currently a week old around there. They are still very small... well they still look like how they look like at three days old. I didn't take the father out of the fry tank.. Heard it was a natural method of culling. Its like the father eats the weak and frail fry. So just now i checked on them and i saw the father 'eating' one, I was pretty shocked but after awhile he spit the fry out so yay! I didnt bother counting the fry cause it was too many and they were too active, spawn #1 has about 40++ and spawn #2 has about 5 (well wasnt able to save the eggs from the hungry female because i was at school)
By the way, at what age can i start doing water changes?? I heard frequent water changes help make the fry grow faster?
I will try my best to squeeze in some updates, having exams 2 weeks later
What to feed the fries?
