    Hi bros,
    It's me, the newbie again.
Can you please help me identifying the plants in the red circles. I bought it from Sea View but they never had a name for it and I'm not sure if they are real aquatic plant.
The one that looks like grass but much longer than hairgrass starts to rotten already.

    Many thanks bros.

The red circled plant in the middle are Cyperus Haspan, they are pond/marginal plants... the cup shaped "leaves" are actually the emersed parts, it can grow underwater but they will mainly grow long stalks up to the water surface then grow the "leaves" above water. Maybe consider shifting them to the background.

Not sure of the red circled plants on the right side though... can't see it as clearly, maybe a close up photo of it might help.

    Hi bro Urban,
    Thanks for your quick assistance.
Here is a closer picture of the plants. #1 refers to the same plant, can you also help me with plant #2 which I really like it. Seem like it is growing well in my newly set up tank.
    Many thanks.

    1) vallisneria ...nice low tech plant...if its really vallisneria, try not to dose seachem excel, they are sensitive to it.

    2) lotus or pennywort series...maybe some other members can chip in...haha
