Their VIV series of glass pipes aren't too shabby as well.

    Latest update on my tank.

I've removed the Driftwood in the middle and it looks much better now. In the middle I've planted some Staurogyne Repens which I hope should look much better when its all grown up. I also had to remove some plants in the background due to brown algae which has cleared up now.

Fishes are doing great. No casualties except for my Nerite snalls which died. Could be due to the PH levels. Not sure.

Just to check, I thought twinstar is to prevent algae from growing, is it effective as I read you still hit by brown algae.

Well It helps to suppress algae, but not prevent. i.e. if your water conditions are screwed up, there isn't much you can do to prevent algae in the long run. I feel it does help suppress, but I screwed up with some water flow and nutrients when I started up the tank. But the worst is over now and it's much better.

Quick update. The tank's been running nearly 2 months. I added some lava rocks to the sandy areas behind the Staurogyne Repens. I also changed the background plants to Hemianthus micranthemoides. Have some trimming to do to get them to grow lush. Also got a cute L183 Starlight Bristlenose Pleco and a few Zebra Otos from Fishy Business.
