I have seen countless iwagumi set ups and have so far, seen none that consist of crypts. So, I decided that I'll make an iwagumi consisting of only crypts. Will be doing the scape this afternoon. Tune in for more !

It's just a 28x30x28. Decided to do something crazy as I'm already using crypts. I used different colored rocks !.IMAG0868.jpgIMAG0869.jpg.

Considering the density and the fact that it's crypts...it is really gonna take a longgggggg time to lawnnnn.. Careful of algae!

Yup, the purpose of iwagumi is to lawn right? YOU probably wanna increase plant density to speed up the process. I started growing my crypts since dec, it doesn't spread horizontally xD it merely grew more stalks of leaves. I'm still waiting for horizontal growth..well, u can conquer back the algae this round!

excuse me... what does "btm" mean....
it's beyond my personal sms lingo usage....i don't even see it being used in any of my whatsapp group ...

that's why sms lingo ain't allowed in AQ.... local also don't understand, not less the global visitors...

About the rock on left, if grey would have been much better.
If from the looks the crypts are all wendtii right? they will grow tall and shadow the rocks depending on light source.. that's why most use them as mid to background plants

Looks like a cross between jungle style and iwagumi, probably can create a new style... perhaps jungle-gumi?

you can get longer ones and just cut them to size using pipe cutter... try y618/seaview/na

    or

    get a surface skimmer

    or

use a airstone (when lights off)
