    To my understanding, it might actually become toxic to the fish. Non-aquatic ferns are best kept outside of the water.
    Need something to scratch that itchy hand of mine.

    not that i know of. best to remove them before they rot, and/or release anything else.

    Thanks bros. Appreciate the feedback. Wanted to convert that tank to a planted tank but made a wrong move by using black inert sand with floredepot as base. Won't be touching that tank till I figure out what I can do with it . fishes still doing well at the moment. My other smaller aquatic plants are dying though.
