    Dear all,

Would anyone shared with me which LFS have good variety of Danios that I can hunt for? Also very keen of getting a school of celestial pearl danio if price is acceptable.

    Appreciate your input. Thanks!

So far, i've seen them in stock at LFS like C328, Seaview, Qian Hu, Green Chapter etc... they are quite common, prices average $1-$2 each (can be even cheaper if you buy them in bulk bags). Cost aside, the most important thing is to shop around to find the healthy ones with nice coloration.

Hi Urban, thanks for your info.

Zebra, Leopard and Pearl Danios should be the common one, right? In fact, I would be kind of interested with the little celestial pearl danio. I have read that they are kind of shoaling fish and not cheap to own.

You should get the burmese golden spotted danios from qianhu. They are not shy and they really schools. They are a beauty to watch too.

Yeah, those fishes are quite common at most LFS nowadays. Celestial Pearl Danios are nice small fishes with great detail and color, but they are quite shy fishes and will tend to hide alot, especially if kept in smaller numbers (keeping them in a larger group seems to make them less shy).

Thanks vannel... Will go and check it out, but still can't buy until my tank is fully cycled. 😖
