Cooling Aquarium by Fan

Anyone tried this method before?
I'm so amazed that the heat insulator can help that much!



Btw, may I ask if anyone lives in NTU campus?! It's sad that the school doesn't allow installation of any type of chiller
I plan to set a small CRS tank in grad hall, but it's almost impossible

I've tried wrapping the tank with the above ideal.... Actually doesn't work for me...

But one fact, cooling fan indeed can reduce the water temperate by 2 -5 degree during day time... =D

Is it good enough for a 2ft tank? "good enough" means able to keep low grade CRS

Get a bigger fan with high CFM... Evaporation will make the temperate around 25 - 26 degree... Should be good enough...
Just that you have to top up water often...
