Urgent help needed - Where to repair/or buy cheap C02 tank and solenoid

Good Sunday to all of you,
Unfortunately, not so good for me. Today my Co2 tank stopped working and there was some hissing noise from the regulator. After that, the pressure quickly dropped to 0. I believe that the regulator is leaking.

1. Do you have any idea where to get it repair cheap/ and whether or not it's worth repairing?
2. If I need to get a new one, where is the cheapest place to get it replace and what is the price range like for both tank and solenoid. I know that Seaview is selling around $140 for the regulator alone, and around $50 for the tank.

Mine is a second hand one gotten from one of the bro here sometime ago.

Try Nature aquarium at Thomson. Why aren't you considering keeping ur tank and just replace the solenoid? You can save a bit like that. Anyway if you are also considering getting the tank, NA provides one to one exchange. 2l cylinder and OF solenoid should be slightly more expensive than the price you stated for your regulator you get in seaview.

Chan at Nature aquarium can help you check what's wrong with your solenoid and co2 tank etc, if it's just your solenoid fault, he can replace it for $60 with a German made one. NA probably the best place to bring down to.

You can check out Bioplast at Boon Keng too. They offer instant refill of co2 at $15 bucks for a 2litre only. Best price I found so far ... I think they may help you troubleshoot your solenoid too.

Hehehee... I am in the gas line... $15 refill 2.68Litre cylinder is quite normal... But if you try harder, you will be able to get it less than $10 in some places....

Anyway, sometime you heard the regulator hissing sound, it might be due to dirt... Just flush it full blast a few time to blow out the dust, and it will be fine... There is a spring inside, which after some time might got struck with dirt and cause malfunction for the regulator and leakage....

If you intend to find the cheapest, please do factor transport. Don't be another one who nitpick for a dollar and spend 1 dollar more for transport Lol.

Anyway, do watch out on the sms lingo usage.
