You can try growing it in a pot, it makes a good indoor plant.
That's a very nice plant, too bad it's not submersed
I actually made the same mistake buying the pink version of this plant, managed to grow it in my tank for 2 months submerged and surprisingly it grows and take root.
However the problem is that this plant is not a true aquatic plant as the old leave will drop off and rot in the tank if grow submerged. I decided to remove it from my tank and pot it instead after 2 months, a very beautiful plant only if it can begrow submerged wwill be most ideal.
