I ran across this nice looking forum while browsing for a new forum home. What attracted me really was the way the VBulletin Software was dressed up, something i could never seem to accomplish with my own software when i owned a few forums of my own

.

Ive been in the fish keeping hobby for about 30 years, off and on, kept about every species known to man, and never considered myself to be an expert, i just enjoyed the hobby and the people i met along the way, or at least some of them.

Im assuming that whoever is in charge of the buttons here has set one to not allow an avatar before so many posts ?? is there a good reason for that ??

No matter, i hope to make a friend or two here, learn some more about the hobby, and help out if i can. I have done everything basically my own way during those many years keeping aquariums, most didnt come out of a book, some worked, some didnt, but ive lost very few fish to other than old age, so i never try to shove my methods on other folks, and figure to each his own.

What this forum needs is a good Super Mod or Admin that shows interest in greeting new members.

What the fourm needs are good hobbyist.
It's quite the slow period now, the only very active place is marketplace. Haha.
