new shrimp tank ... (need advise)

Hi guys,

this is my newly setup shrimp tank ... since i dun have any experience in this line, need more advise to improve further. it a weeks old tank. have put a few Cherry shrimp inside.
all comment mostly welcome ...

thanks for all ur comments and opinion.
anyway to answer some of the question...
i'm using over hanging filter, not sponge filter. then the type of moss i'm using is mini moss.
as for the white sand, theres no brand...bought it from biotope. one thing good, dun need to wash the substrate.the white colour looks very bright and clean ... but quite true, dunno till when the white sand will remain like that ...

its an 30cm length x 21cm width x 28cm depth tank. rather odd size tank, bought it 5 months back at clementi c328 ...

the rock is lava rock ... the black one. they have 2 colours if i'm not mistaken. black and brown. this rock doesn't alter water perimeters.
