setup for vampire crabs

So this is what I'm planning to do. Questions to ask, should I provide filtration for water ? Is there anything else I need to improve ? IMAG1148.jpg
This will be the moss on a rock which will be placed slightly in the water.
Should I add plants in the water column ?
Should I use garden soil or planted tank soil like Gex ?
