    Hi all,

    Anybody might have know or experience it before?

    My blog wood has been scrub, brushed and aired for 1 week plus today want to use it for setup notice there are growth of some greens on it. Not sure what is it posting picture.     Could be some hardy moss or algae that happen to still be living inside the wood.

    I had a piece of driftwood with fissidens attached to it before, took it out from the tank, removed all the fissidens, washed and scrubbed it thoroughly, put it under the sun for a week until bone dry, then keep in storeroom. A few months later i took it out and put into a new tank, within a week could see small fissiden fronds start popping out all over the wood surface. Super hardy mosses.

    Did they grew in your set up ?
    Or was is remove?

    I just let the moss continue growing in my new setup... i guess if you don't want whatever the stuff is growing on your wood piece, the just scrub it off and keep removing it if it pops up. If its algae then you could try spot treating it with H2o2 or Excel to kill it.
