Wild betta at C328

Saw some wild betta pairs for sale at C328 yesterday. Does anyone know what species they might be?

Not a expert but at least can tell if they are pairs anyway. Usually sold in pairs and labelled as a pair are different...

They had mac there, which was labelled. The other ones were just labelled as 'wild betta'. I asked the shop owner but he doesn't know which species. The colours on the fishes are not out yet I think, mostly brown. Estimate about 5-7cm long with slightly spade shaped tail.

Betta channoides or forest betta at $15 sold as 2 in a bag, 1 pair of betta macs at cool price of 6 blue notes...all are not in pairs.

Wah 6 blue notes?gotta be kidding.thats $300!last time is $200.plus can get brunei strain at cheaper than 100 per pc

As I mention, i am no expert, that mac pair is 3 digits, maybe $200, i didnt see clearly anyway.

An idea if the that betta species is non aggressive type, cause both pieces in same bag and they are flaring, size is slightly smaller that giant betta, slight bluish greenish tinted scale and spade shaped tail

Yeah pugnax.quite aggressive towards male.can be aggressive to female too if not bonded.good as starter wild betta

Happen to know someone selling his confirmed pair of b Macrostoma plus a male for 350. The pair had spawned and hold thr successfully to term. I took over the juvies which are lovely.
He only willing to part to someone who knows how to breed Mac.
