    Hi,
    Recently there are white spot that appear in my tank...they are like white sesame seed...some on the leave. edge of the tank, leaf stem and even the drift wood....may i know what are those?? thanks and hope to hear from all asap so that i can remove it asap if it is harmful...

    It could be eggs from snails or very young snails(looked like midget barnacles instead of the typical spiral/conical shape)....

    It can be water fleas too. Nothing much you can do. They appear out of nowhere.

    will water fleas be harmful to my tank?
    these white spots look like smal sesame seed...that are not transparent..is total white.....

    are you still having those white spots?

    if they're water fleas, i'd think that your fish would be able to eat them. :P

    Do you happen to have any horn snail or flower snail which u introduced to control your algae?
    If so, those white spots should be from them, you can remove them away, not sure if they are eggs but mine doesn't seems to hatch for few months, so I always remove them.
    Could be byproduct due to eating of the algae, not sure too.

    yes, i had introduced 3 horn snails recently to clean up the algae...and as what u said, most probably is the egg of the horn snail...btw how u remove those white spot? or any fish such as puffer will eat them up?

    You can scrub/scrap them off with your tweezers or something hard, nothing will eat them up cos I don't think their eggs too. Not sure what they are.

    however alot of these white spots are on the plant leaves or stem, quite difficult to remove lor
