    If I plant my java fern or any other low light requirement plant under bright light wat will happen to the plant? will it rot?

    All supposed low light plants will do even better with high light, but unless you provide correspondingly high CO2 and fertilisation, algae will swamp the tank.

    If we see Amano's works, he can grow Anubias under bright light and they are still algae-free.

    For me, I can't achieve it. So I grow my Anubias sp. under the shade of my Sword plants. In my experience, Java Fern can take more light than Anubias.
