    Hi all!

Did a rescape of my 2 feet tank because the the dwarf hairgrass was just simply not growing after months even when I separated them quite thinly.
There was supposed to be a nice grassy effect on the left but just didn't work out.

So I picked up a nice DW

And scape it with whatever plants I could find at LFS.

Photo was taken with an iPhone camera on day 2 since flooding. Hopeful that the plants will fill out nicely.
    Any helpful advice appreciated. Thanks!

Nice wood there. Choice is plants is also ok. The plants to the left back of the tank seems either to be a non aquatic plant or bolbitis. Which one is it? Also Why did you put an internal filter in the tank? You already have a canister right? Looks nicer without the internal filter

    Thanks for the reply.
The plant on back left is actually Hygrophila Pinnatifida. Definitely aquatic haha.
If you're referring to the thing on the right back, its actually a pump head to increase circulation. There is a Eheim 2217 hooked up to this.
Maybe I'll remove all these equipment when taking pictures, but I guess I'll be too lazy to. Haha

    Cheers!

Your driftwood makes a nice V shape, if i were you, I would add stem plants towards right and left corners at the back and give more depth to the tank. With the current lights, i would go for rotala nanjenshan or HM or rotundifolia..

Looking good! Are those ruby tetra? Do they look really small in a 2ft?

Did not see the purple color bucep plant that is placed in the middle of your tank a month ago update in your current tank update. You removed it?

    Re: Rescaped 2 feet

Yes those are ruby tetras! Wanted something small to achieve sense of scale and illuminate against the dark green of the Bolbitis. I got 18 of them in it.

The purple plant isn't bucep. Not sure what plant it that. I just got it from C328 to fill space hahaa. Now I got more buceps in place of the tripartita.

    Re: Rescaped 2 feet

Can I ask how are the kick in and kick out like for your chiller? Mine was TR10 connected to my 2ft. It was like 10minutes kick in and kick out for 30 minutes.

    Re: Rescaped 2 feet

Mine kicks in for 35 mins and kicks out for 95 mins on a regular day.
However, I set mine at 27 degrees, and my ambient temperature is around 31-33 degrees.
And my setup is 2217>CO2 reactor>chiller> tank.

I'm not too sure what is the cause of your kick in/out timing. I do know Teco chillers do not need to install external probes, because their sensors are on the intake pipe so water temperature measured are true to tank water temperature. Sorry not much of a help.

I see. I set my temperature at 25.5C. Therefore not Apple to Apple comparison.
