Those are some sweet looking cherries! May the poison of shrimps start seeping...and you can move on to CRS :P

Yes the poison has begin seeping in. I'm looking at more exotic shrimps including CRS. But needing to have a chiller is the main obstacle:/

Set up in Office. .*hint**hint*..got air con. .muahahahaa
Maybe in the future @solidbrik. I'm still studying now so no air con office for me. Anyone has a rough idea of how long it take to be able to sex a shrimplet and for them to be of breeding age? Also the duration between one batch of baby shrimp to the next for an adult shrimp? Thanks!
I can't remember how long it takes, but just look out for the saddle in females. Once a saddle appears they are most likely sexually mature.

Like your DW. Very nice and clean setup.
Thanks! I see more and more shrimplets. They are getting more daring and swim around the tank.

can you add swordtails to shrimp tank will the shrimps get eatten up?
I haven tried it so I'm not too sure. I would think only the shrimplets are at risk. But it's better to have some advise from seniors! I'm sure they would know more.

I have no experience with sword tails as I feel they are abit big for my shrimps. I have seen cardinals poking at my fire red which stresses them quite abit.
The shrimps will not behave as active as they would be in a shrimp only tank if they feel threatened by fishes. Of course shrimplets are snacks for swordtails.
Just my 2 cents!

Swordtails are aggressive fishes and they will attack your shrimps and shrimplets.
Update! More shrimp photos! With probably one my reddest cherries

Thanks!! I just saw these tiny dust like things in my tank. They are alive and swimming around. Anyone can help me Identify? Or have similar experiences? Please help me. What should I do?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408847213.159965.jpg
I hope it's visible. But if you look carefully at the soil you can see those tiny white specs. There's so many of them crawling in the soil.
