    Please help me ID and how to get rid of the algae! I have CRS inside and 1 horned nerite snail in the tank.

    Type 1 (On the air tube):

    Hey bro, I can only recognize the green spot algae. The other two can't be found on the web you gave, or any webs I've searched.

    The 1st pic look like dirt or diatoms,2nd pic green spot algae,3rd pic BBA and last one not sure....

    Is it true that amano shrimps and SAEs will eat BBA?

    Are they shrimp safe? I have many shrimplets in the tank!

    Juvenile Sae will eat BBA, bigger ones will prefer fish food. Yamato or any other shrimps will eat BBA which already died....

    To me, having sae is more headache than bba...lol

    My ADA aquasoil is starting to get infested with BBA! I'm too afraid to use any chemicals as I have CRS in my tank

    Need more info in order to help you.

    Photo period, age of set up, fertilizer regime, co2 injection, picture of the setup.

    Have to solve the issue from the root cause....

    This is my tank. Just a big piece of wood with xmas moss. I'm not using CO2 as I always thought xmas moss no need extra CO2. I don't use fertilizers too.
    The tank is around 4 months old!
