Anybody know anything that look like fungus growing on the wood? I try remove the wood from the tank, scrape with brush, pour hot water over it before putting the wood back in the tank. However the white stuff keep coming back. Anybody know how to get rid of it? does yamato eat them?

yes...u should not boil the wood... Normally, we should just soak newly bought wood instead. In this case, if the fungus grows too huge(area), take it out and wash it. Let the "power" of the water jets remove it. u need not brush it excessively, gently brush will do.With time, the symptoms will slowly reduce n eventually gone.
