how to trim MM

Like to ask u guys how do u trim ur MM? If i dun trim the MM , will the top part block the bottom from light resulting lower part yellowing and die? thanks.

just cut to the height and shape you want.

for the second question, yes, due to the lack of light, the bottom part will turn yellow and even rot. Furthermore, mm is not meant to be a tall plant, i think.
