    Hi all

Assuming i have some bga tainted soil, can i totally eliminate the bga by give the soil a wash and drying it for a period of time before i use them for a new setup?

do a complete blackout for like 3-4 days. by wrapping with bag plastic bag/thick newspaper.
bga is actually not an algae but bacteria. so removing the light is like staving them.

many years back I had this plant and somehow bga just disappeared.
it seems true but i could not confirm.

google this plant Egeria densa - Anacharis, Elodea
