Hi everybody! I am now in Japan (will be here for a year) and have to say that I am in aquatic heaven! The hobby here is truly of a high standard and it has pushed my interest in this amazing hobby of our's to a higher level. I recently visited a koi farm where the owner (who does not allow walk-in guests on his farm) was so hospitable. I went river rock collecting and that was awesome too- you know those river rocks that amano uses in his aquascapes...and how he says that river rocks are the best etc...
Anyways, I am writing specifically to those of you who were interested in buying my ADA catalogue in my recent 'crazy clearance ' sale but were not early enough to get it. There were many of you who wanted it and I promised that I would try to get it for you once in Japan.
Well, I am now here, so I will be happy to help you guyz get the catalogue. If there are enough of you, I could maybe find a cost-effective way of shipping it over to Singapore.
I am also trying to visit the ADA office next year after Niigata (where the office is located) settles down since it was recently ravaged by a very bad earthquake. I will also be trying to attend a masterclass by Amano at the ADA office soon hopefully.
Last but not least, I should say that the latest ADA catalogue looks really really cool! It is quite thick and has mouthwatering photos that I stare at almost every night before I go to bed ( I know, I am a little crazy), and it features some amazing ADA accessories, some new technology, with the prices listed. For those of you who are interested, I guess, if you write me a nice email, I might be able to get hold of the ADA accessory that you want and post it over to you. Also, if there is any plant that is only available in Japan or something that you need, email me and i will see if I can help locate it.
Of course you will have to pay for postage and the cost of the goods. I will not be deriving a profit from this at all (although charitable donations to fund my ADA tank here in Japan) are more than welcome ; )

Hi everybody! I received numerous emails from members with many questions about the ADA catalogue and ADA goods in general here in Japan.
I have decided to post some pics here so that you have a better idea of what the catalogue looks like.
Some new features in the latest ADA catalogue are:
- sharp sleek CO2 accessories that will make you the envy of everyone.
-ADA fish food containers in japanese style ceramic containers with japanese motifs. these are not expensive at all, at about 30 dollars each, and they are breathtaking.
-would you believe it, an ADA style marine tank with ADA marine accessories (!)
-'nature biotope': open tank style bowls for top view appreciation.
-etc.
If you are still interested msg me and I will try to help. The catalogue is going for about 40 ish dollars including express speedpost air postage to your doorstep. takes about 2 days to arrive in Singapore from Japan.
The catalogue is bound with a metallic binder and has 144 pages. It also states the price of the goods and has instructions on setting up a planted tank ADA style in Japanese. If you write me a nice email, i will help you translate from japanese to english .
