    i'm doing up a low maintainance 1 feet tank...
    light depenedent on natural sunlight and table lamp which is about 13W
    day light and table lamp light on for about 3 hours at night
    plants : java moss tied on drit wood
    co2 : depends on how much fish give out (haha) got 10 cardianls tetras
    filter is hanging overflow filter
    dosage of fert : sechem flourish.....1/2 capful weekly when doing 30% water change


    QUESTIONS : Will my plants survive??

    I'd worry more about your fish... 10 cardinals is a lot of a 1-footer, even with filter, they are heavy feeders (which means lots of poo) and active swimmers (so the lack of space will cramp them) ... have you considered getting smaller fishes like boraras, pgymy gouramis... ? With java moss, I would do away with the fert altogether.... and if you switch to smaller fishes, you can junk the filter too. Also read the article somewhere in the articles section on low maintenance small tanks.
