I started a small 2 feet planted tank recently. I only have Hair-grass and Glosso inside. And a piece of driftwood. So looking very "open".

I already have a shoal of Green Neons. What solitary or pair of fish could I use to make the aquascape more interesting? As there is almost no hiding space, what fish would suit this environment?

    Thanks.

Hi Yimin, is that a croaking gourami? good pic.

Koah Fong, I happen to have a real, wild, Singaporean Jungle Betta (Betta pugnax). Interested? It looks somewhat like the croaking gourami, except that it doesn't croak, and the fins don't look quite as pretty. But it is a wild specimen, ahhh... I've been feeding it malayan shrimps so you decide [:0]
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
