looks like there is a loss of detail at f20, what lense you using?
Got this fish today, and took some pictures..
first picture, usual setting, ISO 100, 1/125, f 20
second picture, bo flash, only 20W normal light, ISO 400, 1/100, f 6.3
first picture, the light bounce up too much, the color at the body gone....second one is the right coloration...
looks like there is a loss of detail at f20, what lense you using?
still the old 50 mm macro...

every lense got a sweet spot, looking from yr pic... looks like it aint at f20

hmm...the first picture seems too dark. Perhaps f13 might be better. When the fish is parallel to the front glass pane, anything above F11 does not give you more sharpness on the subject. It only brings the back/foreground into focus.
