Can anyone care to share how each circulate water in long tanks >5'?

I tried using a waver maker and the consequence result is not too favourable.

Reason for doing so is to disseminate CO2 evenly in the tank.

Still trying to find the perfect solution to the quest.

    Please share.

    Thanks.

Wave maker? Those are for marine tanks, where the inhabitants like waves.

Any internal power head will do. If the flow is too strong, get several weaker ones and install them at intervals. Small ones can be hidden behind plants easier.

If you are using internal CO2 reactors, you can use two with power heads and install one at each end of the tank. You just need one CO2 set... just get a t-joint (metal one preferred) and split the CO2 hose.

You can do the same if you are using CO2 diffusors. Split the hose and install one diffusor in each end.

For external CO2 reactors, split water return.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

for my 6ft, i used a long eheim tube and drilled holes to make an extra long rainbar (4ft+). placed it along the bottom back of the tank with holes facing about 45degrees to the surface.
this way, co2 enriched water (via external reactor) is distributed throughout the tank.

I think a couple of powerheads (+ filter) giving at least 2,000-2,500 l/h of total output placed strategically would be just right. My own 250 litre tank (3.5x1.5x1.5 ft long) uses a Eheim 2228 and powerhead with total flow of 1,500 l/h.

I have a spare one for giveaway if you are interested. PM me.

i using a ehiem 2224 for my 3ft tank, flow is not too strong.
decided to install a small filter 200/hr flowrate at the other adj corner of my tank to improve circulation.
