Looks like the submersed form of Hygrophila Difformis (aka water wisteria).

Its an easy fast growing stem plant, commonly used to soak up excess nutrients in a tank. It will grow to the water surface and above, then start growing emersed leaves (which look very different with round leaves). It can also be grown just floating too.

So does it means it's a non co2 plant?

Technically, no plant is non CO2. Every plant needs CO2 as part of photosynthesis.

It is rated to be an easy plant by Tropica. So I guess it is possible to maintain it without CO2. By the way, where did you get it? It seems likes you got a good-sized one.

Yeah, water wisteria is a low-demand fast growing stem plant, additional Co2 injection isn't absolutely necessary for it to grow well... though with ample Co2 injection and strong lights it can grow super fast and overtake everything else in the tank.

I had them growing in my outdoor container garden a while back, no Co2 injection, just sunlight.

Here is a comparison of the growth rate over a period of only 2 weeks (water wisteria are the 4 large bunches)...

    Just 2 weeks later...

Its definitely a great plant for soaking up excess nutrients.
