You can try Mexican Drawf Clayfish. Definitely Tetra safe. Kept 2 of them with my Black Tetra, otos, cory etc no issue. They are scavengers feeding on leftovers if possible just feed them with blood worms and they are pretty happy with it. Now they know when is feeding time and crawl out of hiding whenever i feed with blood worms.
