    Hi guys,

My fissidens are growing thick and I need to trim them. They are growing on my centerpiece wood, and it's impossible to remove the wood to trim them out of the tank.

Problem is fissidens sink. And when I cut them in water, small plant pieces and scatter as much as I try to net them. A few weeks later, I'll see small fissidens growing everywhere, having a foothold on soil, wood, and growing wherever it settled down.

    Any advice?

First of all turn off the filter, then you need to use both hand. One hand holding hose siphon the water and the other hand cutting the fissiden.
