nice natural look!!
always contemplating to have a soil-and-sand-division scape, but the thought of granules falling over to the opposite side is always a deterrent.....
Hi all,
Just to show you my new office scape. Previously I did a terrible job and screwed the whole tank ... now I dedicated some time and resource ($) on it and i do like it better but the photos do not do it justice
Tank: 30cm x 18cm x 22cm ANS Opti clear
Plants: Nana petite, philippine fern mini, bucep catherinae, hydroctyle tripartita, mini hairgrass (sp japan), staurogyne repens, xmas moss, cryptocoryne wendtii brown, rotala sp vietnam. (Yes I squeezed hell lot of plants)
Lights: Aqualighter nano
Filter: Hang on type
Temp: Day time 25 - 26 degrees/ Weekend 30degrees
Planning to turn on fan during weekends.
Will take a more decent photo again before i upload in 1 weeks time when most plants grow in a little

, Natural scape. well done. can consider alternate lighting to avoid shadow effect on the back corners..

Actually I think your 'Failed' scape actually looks quite nice. Honestly not as bad as you make it out to be it's quite natural looking to me. Given time for the planes to grow in, it should look quite nice.
Cheers,
JJ
It is ok in terms of rock placement but fails to create height depth perspective... in short, rocks are too short
