no.. I like a open land feeling... will get more Jap grass to fill up the space.. the front will grow some glosso
advise you to stock up with more plants, inital stage usually the most depressing if not done correctly... heavily planting the tank might help
acidjc: Yup, follow Simon's advise to plant more densely during the start.
See how densely Amano planted during the AGA workshop?

I noticed you used Crypts. Some rotting may be expected but they should recover.
BTW - I love how you DIY the panels for your metal stand to make it look like a cabinet. Was it difficult? Maybe can share with us.
Cheers!

thank for all your advise.. ya today I went Teo in the morning and brought alot more Jap Grass and some more glosso. also got some Taiwaness plants, dunno there name ..but what given to me are all dry leaves, so planted into the tank they start to "die off".. guess hve to wait a few more days b4 they all start to chg to water plant, till then I will take some pic and post here so u all guru can help me indentify them.
as for the cabinet.. actually not v difficult.. I use to to that during my army days too. I collect those 4ft or 3ft tank's stand and use wood to "cover" them and make it like a cabinet, but actually the behind is open. but at least from the front they look like a real cabinet.
however this time round, I actarlic (sorry dunno the spelling) instead.. lighter and look more class. measure the stand and cut to size. v simple.
