    benetay,
no worries abt transpassing over.. glad that u can take a look at my dark side.. hahaha

it depends on the power of your chiller. but i recommend u not setting it any lower than 24-26 degrees coz if not, u have to spend more $$ knitting clothes for your fishes...hahaha... jokes aside, IMO, optimal temp where corals flourish is ard that range.. and most hard corals tend to expend real big at that temp.. that is provide all the water parameters are at their optimum...[]

try to maintain yr tempature at ard 25-27
anything lower then yr fish will behave very retarded(goto do with metabolism rate)
higher then yr coral will melt...

bene u going marine wif ur 6ft? need to invest alot of $$$ hor. wah...2hp....it will cost a bomb man. tts like 1920w to run it. plus if its locally made it will be abt 2000w.

    hey spiff

I maintain mine between 27-29...chiller cuts in at 29 and shuts at 27 with ave at 28. This may save you some $$...as I've read rpts that temp at our tropical reefs are nearer the upper end of the 20s.
