    hi,

Anyone know of the real name for the below plant ? I bought 2 of these and it cost me a bom,so must take good care of it.

The tip is green and the bottom portion is red. Other than that is similar to other species of Ku Jing Choa.

    Any special requirement needed?

    Thanks.

    Re: Ericaulon Sp (new type)

    hi guys,

I ask fellow forumer abt this plant on Fri, 17 Dec 2004, 07:20.

Found out the plant is called Eriocaulon sp Australia(吐血穀精). Some fellow forumer was telling me this is a difficult plant and a slow one, thus the name...

The 2 plantlet cost me $70each ( my second most expensive plant i ever buy) and after hearing comments abt this plant i have no choice but to quickly sell off 1 of them to someone who is more experience in keeping eriocaulon sp.

I have to take extra care on this plant, ensuring that it grow healthy and not melt off instead.

And of today, i manage to get the plant to multiply to 3 plantlets. It is in a juvenile stage though ... and i'm delighted.

Ericaulon sp is, after all , not that difficult to keep. This keep me in the hunt for another sp , ie Eriocaulon sp Australia(澳洲細葉穀精1型).

Anyone has this Eriocaulon sp Australia(澳洲細葉穀精1型) , pls let me know

    Happy Ericaulon
    cheers
