Bottom tank is a crayfish tank. here is a photo os one of them molting.
Getting back to a full tank after a few years break. last one I had was while in Tokyo, so easy to get aspiration from amazing fish shops there. Now have similar planted tank, but will cylinder of CO2 rather than sugar and yeast in the old one.
Tried managing with no chiller but moss died as soon as entering tank. So upgraded to 1/4hp cooler over the weekend - will see how that goes.
Photo of tank when first build. Will post a later photo soon.

Still have a slight green tint to the water. Added a UV light which made nil difference. Added some anti-green chemical which made a big difference. but not sure if it will stay this way. Could be because of either
- i do water changes from the pond outside as the tap water kills my fish.
- soil layer is cleaned garden soil. with hindsight this was maybe a mistake. its too dense and releases gas bubbles often
An giving away the bottom tank ( 120x50x50cm) so that have more space for main top tank. Tank is old and was resealed by me a few months ago. slight scrathing, oldness etc but good solid tank. will post on marketplace section soon as I can.
Better photo now I have got both filters and chiller working on one tank.
Good looking tank! I noticed you removed the plants on the left. I think the balance was better with them there.
By the way which part of Tokyo did you live in? I tried looking for aquariums while I was there and could never find any. Seen pictures and heard lots of magical things about their pet shops!

Good setup, I believe you have brought Iwagumi style back to sg as a fond memory
The lighting looks insufficient, not sure. Is it because of image quality.... The drift wood setup is really attractive
Driftwood was hacked off a dead tree-stump on the beach near Tanah Merah ferry terminal!
