    Saw these cute little stone fishes at Y618. anyone got any info bout this fish?

    do they look like gobies?
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

    i think he mean another one. its really small, look like a stone fish and a little like soon hock.

    i've seen the fish at Y618 too... if its the same fish we're talking abt, it looks like a tiny garoupa with big fins. Not really like the goby pic u posted but with similar body pattern and colors. It selling at $3 per fish if i remember correctly.

    yes, I bought them at Y618. They (and another LFS) told me they're real friendly community fish. Rite. I caught one of them with the tail end of my neon tetra sticking out of its mouth. I returned them.

    They are Wasp fish, and is poisonous.

    Should be venomous rather than poisonous.

    Poisonous = you get poisoned when you eat it

    Venomous = inject venom into you when it stings you.
