You can put them in a tank filled with sand/soil with a small water bowl. At the land area put some ketapang leaves for them to hide and a few plants to absorb the ammonia/nitrates from the crab's excrement.

Would it be okay to mist the tank? I have plans for it to be a very simple planted tank with emersed hydrocotyle, moss and maybe some terrarium plants

Loving crypts <3
Hi all,
Just to check, I have 4 VCs in the tank and all 4 molted successfully last week. However, 2 were dead today. I had a sandy area with nana on drift wood, a coconut shell for cover and a little corner with water after the molting. They are on crab cuisine and seemed to be alright. But this evening, one was found dead and the other half dead. The other 2 are fine.
Please advise what's wrong with them. They are super cute and I would want to avoid the same mistake when I get more. I had them for about 3 weeks prior to molting.
Thank you.
