    Take care man.. I also almost cut myself last time too. That's y I changed to stainless inlet/outlet too. Easy maintenance too. You may wanna consider for safety reason ya.

    that is gross, cut to the bone. what brand pipes was it? could it be the glass not as good? when I was buying my gush pipes the dude advised me to handle only the straight sections of the pipe cos that part is the strongest

    second hand ada pipes. Was trying to cover the bottom of the inlet pipe with a rubber piece. Holding to the straight sections. Inlet broke, my motion was a downwards motion, hence the stabbing down.....luckily did not stab my leg.....

    Shudder when I think what may happen.....
    Blessing it only required stitches....

    Yeah, the section with the intake cut-out slots is the weakest part of the inflow pipes, those glass slots can break very easily if you put force on them.

    I guess next time have to be very careful when attaching intake guards with rubber seals... or just use sponge guards instead.
