    I've kept Tateurndina ocellicauda (aka rainbow gudgeon) before and your fishes do have a similar body and fin shape... but just without the colors.

    I'd guess its a variant of the same species?

    It's highly likely that these are indeed Empire Gudgeon (Hypseleotris compressa), although they're probably too stressed out and so the colours aren't showing.

    thanks all.. i pick this from c328 rojak tank... it was in this color.
    Is it because they are not in spawning season, thats why remain this color?

    I was at C328 yesterday and saw these fishes there too... they are rather small ones though, only 2-3cm, probably juveniles.

    Like what Pseudogobiopsis mentioned, they do seem to resemble empire gudgeons, did some quick search and found a photo of a non-nuptial female example at the seriouslyfish.com database:
