Can someone advise me how to get rid of those white tiny worms crawling on the glasses of my one foot shrimp tank. They are about 2-3mm long. They will disappear after the light on for some time.Don't know what is that????? Thanks

this tiny worms are harmless jus irritating to see... but it is a sign that there are too much uneaten food as a result of overfeeding or decomposing bodies in the water.... try cutting down on yr feeding and monitor their quantity.....

    Hi,

I have white tiny worms on the body or fins of some of my cardinal tetras. Could i it be the same type of worms?

I have about 150 cardinal tetras in my 4ft x 2ft x 20' tank. Is it too much?
Could this be the reason for the white worms?

    Hi,

    Thanks Simon.

Yes, they seem very harmful. After they log onto the body of the cardinal tertras, the surrounding area seem to whiten and swollen.

So can I treat it as a normal parasite and add doses of medicine bought from LFS? Or is just salt suffice? To completely eradicate them do I also have to clean up the filter and change the water totally?
