    hi folks
    i already use a DIY CO2 to fill my 80x40x40 cm ,aqua
    the thing go right,but as the time goes by,the co2 become crazy and bubles like an aerator(very very much of co2,the diffuser become so crazy as it difusing alot of bubbles)

    hix,iam sure my ph is now changed,now.how can i control the bubles,with some valve maybe?or change the mixture ingridients?

    your yeast/sugar/water proportion may be wrong....

    I have also read somewhere (4got was it here at AQ or other forums) that DIY CO2 can be controlled but i couldn't seem to find the thread now.... sorrie...

    Like an airstone? You must have overloaded on sugar or yeast...

    Try this method:

    Fill sugar to about 1cm from the bottom of the bottle.
    Fill with water to 3/4 of the bottle.
    Pour just enough yeast so that the surface of the water top is just thinly covered by a layer of yeast.

    control co2 generation rate by controlling the amount of yeast.
    usually 1/4 teaspoon for 1.5l coke bottle will do.
    you can try using a valve to 'regulate' the co2 flow rate. but there are people who had burst coke bottle. do this at your own risk.
