I did a recent change-out for my PL light to a 2g11 LED (from Taobao) as well. You just need to disconnect the balast and do a direct connection. Please see attached. (Hope you can understand Chinese).

Thanks though! If I just change the tube may I know what complications may occur?
I suppose you meant what's the complication if you change the tube without disconnecting the electrical ballast?
In such case you may potentially burn out the diodes or possibly shorten the lifespan of your LED. To my limited understanding, most PL light uses instant start-type ballast which will discharge a relatively high voltage to initiate the electrodes for PL light. This sudden surge may burn out the diodes on your LED. Thus disconnecting the ballast would be recommended.
