Wow.. very nice fish.. But this type, i never see at seaview. Is it aggressive fish?
I'm looking to get a group of nice Sawbwa Resplendens (aka Asian Rummynose)... anyone spotted them at any LFS lately?

Well, its not a rare fish, various LFS do stock them from time to time... but availability seems to be seasonal.Originally Posted by Dscheng
I actually missed the chance to get some when they were available at C328 just a few weeks ago. Just hoping another LFS may happen to still currently have some stock.
I've kept them before and they are relatively peaceful fishes. Their natural habitat (Inle lake, Myanmar) has neutral to alkaline water conditions though, so they tend to show better and brighter colors in those particular types of tank environment.

Thanks for the tip... i've decided to just stick to platinum rummy nose tetras though, looks similar but schools better.

These are much small sized than the platinum specie, do they school as well as the normal ones?
I brought the smaller version. But the body sliver colour not as bright as platinum type.
Sawbwa resplendens don't school as well (they are more of a shoaling species)... not like rummy nose tetras.
