An all-in-one fertiliser, like LushGro Aqua. Or Profito Easylife and SeaChem Flourish. However, the latters lack some essential macros while LGA lacks PO4.
Just recently set up a planted tank. Noticed some hair algae starting to grow. Was wondering what liquid fert I should be dosing and if theres any particular liquid ferrt that would take care of all the plants needs.
Tank size : 60 x 29 x22cm
Light : 2 x 18watts pl, 10-12 hours daily
base fert : JBL
Filter : atman HOB with inbuilt surface skimmer
CO2 : DIY with flipper
Temp : 24-27 degree celcius
Ph : 6.5
flora : MM, "mini" tenellus, HC, and 2 other plants which i do not know the name yet, trying to find out, one is the new foreground "chendol" look-a-like plant which Sam Yick Aquarium uses at the marine parade display tank.
Fauna : 10 x rummy nose tetras, 1 x otocinclus 6x x yamatoes
Thanks

CO2 have to be stronger in my opinion.
For LUSHGro products can look for me
I have been using Tetra Floride as my liquid fertiliser since day 1 of my tank; Apparently, it is not use widely by the rest of the ppl here; Any issue with this brand?

Most people like to know what's going into their tank during fertilization. With brands like seachem, TMG, lushgro, the breakdown is readily available.
While Tetra is considered a "reputable" brand for many aquarium products, its fertilizers are probably not that well looked upon... I haven't checked recently, but last time I did, there was no info on its contents...
Then again, all said, this is just my opinion.
Allen
Allen has a valid point; there is no details on the fertiliser;
but i think the product is desiged to be this way, like fertiliser for dummy, just pour the right amt and let it do its works.
good for lazy bum like me, and maybe the new birdiess.

Same here i have been using tetra florapride ever since i started my first planted tank n my plants r thriving without much fertilising related problems arising.
Earth can satisfy our needs but she can't satisfy our greed, live light on this planet coz if we lose it, there ain't no others
Hi guys,
what do u guys feels about the JBL liquid fertilizer?
thanks
yours sincerely,
Storm
Actually, all brands of liquid fert are allright. All that matters really is your plants getting their nutrients. For any type of fert you get, check what it does not contain, and get the supplement. That's all really
Check out the prices too!
