any comments on that lense?
works as it should, doesn't feel as solid as 12-24 (which feels tough as rock). feels a bit like the 18-55 but not quite as flimsy.
images seems ok, 10mm seems a little wide thus if the camera isn't aligned properly, the lines at the side seem to fall in. (same problem with all wide angles just that 10mm distorts it more)..
seems like a sharp lens also, 77mm filter thread doesn't vignette at all since there is about an 8mm clearance space around the lens front element.

hmmmmm.... actually looking for a walk ard lense for traveling
personally, I feel a 6,7,8,9,10 - 35 would be a good walk around...
but as usual, no such beast exists..
anyway, I like wide for walk around

I like them wide, but 10-22 is kinda of short at the end
so carry a 50mm as well.. its light enough.. or a 35mm prime

not really keen to carry too many lenses while vacationing.. usually end up having backaches after my holiday. My usual damage is 18-55 (still a great lense at f 50mm f1.8, 180mm f3.5 (for macro)
how about 17-40mm f4L?
What da fish!

not long enuff at the end
actually why not? since 35mm gives you same prespective as a 50mm on a ff camera, most of your shots can be framed at 35mm for that look what.. the rest that need longer perhaps you can use 135/2 SF.. hehehehe
for my level, what do u think is the best travel camera to carry? The default one?
might consider the 18-125 just for traveling.
